Become a Foster Carer

Kyabra supports Foster and Kinship care for children and young people who are unable to live with their birth parents.

This involves the recruitment, training and provision of ongoing support to carer families, to provide care to these children.

We all have to deal with money but it is one of the leading causes of stress for Australians. Whether you’re struggling to pay bills, worried about debts, unable to save or juggling a tight budget, support is available to reduce the financial stress in your life.

Domestic and Family Violence Services

The mobile domestic and family violence service provides short-term outreach support for women and children who are experiencing family and domestic violence on the Sunshine Coast. Kyabra accepts referrals from women who are worried about their own safety and from other agencies where women have asked for assistance to plan their safety, talk through issues or get further information.

Kyabra’s Group Work and Training team offers a range of programs that may help to enhance your parenting and have more fun with your children.
