Current Opportunities

Since 1976, Kyabra has been strengthening individual, family and community lives in Southeast Queensland.

Our Approach

Using a strengths-based approach, we work alongside individuals, families and community groups experiencing complex issues who present to the organisation for support.

In the communities that we serve, we aim to build strength and resilience across a range of areas such as housing and homelessness support, foster and kinship care, NDIS support services, living on a low income, family, children and parenting support, and domestic and family violence.

Our service delivery involves a range of activities including needs assessments, advocacy, support work and coordination, case management, community development and other services that facilitate the achievement of community wellbeing outcomes.

Our Mission

Kyabra is committed to providing socially just services to enable the sustainable development of individuals, families, communities and organisations. We currently do this by facilitating opportunities for the enhancement of individual strengths and capacities through our range of innovative services and business initiatives delivered by our service delivery teams.
