| Testimonials | Some of the great feedback we received about this event: *The facilitator was very knowledgeable and readily answered questions and provided examples *The real-world examples within the work context enhanced my learning during the workshop *I’m looking forward to sharing this important content with my colleagues when I return to work *Thank you to the facilitator for bringing all thoughts together from the participants and valuing their voices *The content of this workshop has built on my current knowledge *I really enjoyed the activities of self-reflection and the brainstorming on how to respond to tricky situations *The interactive activities were helpful, as were the different ideas for how to speak with children, to understand their body/feelings – not something I’ve learnt before *I will now be able to utilise the knowledge gained from the workshop to better/further educate the parents of young people, that are either the perpetrator or the victim of sexual offence/s *As a result of this workshop I will be able to engage families more, use the resources from today and incorporate them into my practice *I enjoyed the information around using different activities, and in ways that start small, in ways that don’t re-trigger a young person. I enjoyed the secret/surprise activity *I feel like I have more knowledge to support mothers/children in my workplace and will feel comfortable to have these conversations now. |
