Kyabra supports Foster and Kinship care for children and young people who are unable to live with their birth parents.
This involves the recruitment, training and provision of ongoing support to carer families, to provide care to these children.

The mobile domestic and family violence service provides short-term outreach support for women and children who are experiencing family and domestic violence on the Sunshine Coast. Kyabra accepts referrals from women who are worried about their own safety and from other agencies where women have asked for assistance to plan their safety, talk through issues or get further information.

Rebuilding Relationship after Trauma and Violence
This workshop offers an opportunity to reengage with your key knowledge of Trauma Theory, Attachment Theory, Early Brain development, Poly Vagal Theory and the impacts that present when growing in a family system where there is neglect, abuse, DFV, emotionally absent parent or similar; the impacts on a child/young person’s development and subsequent patterns of behaviour.
